This flamingo makeup was inspired by Jessa’s love for flamingo’s 🙂
I used this palette and it’s ON SALE Urban Decay (I use it all the time but for this look I used the pink and orange.)
I used eyeliners:
And you can just use the edge of a sheet of paper to create a straight line. As far as Halloween makeup goes, I feel like this is a pretty easy look to do.
I wanted to do a different spin on the typical flamingo makeup look. It’s like a coachella styled flamingo haha.
Jessa’s gorgeous and halloween makeup is so fun to do.
You may remember from my last post that Free People featured images from this shoot on their blog and on their main instagram, which is so rad.

These are some of my favorite bridal photos I’ve ever seen. And Camilla Binks Photography is a genius. I LOVE that she had Jessica take her hair out and the end to switch it up. So hot.
And might I mention that Jessica my client, is literally a princess. At Disney World. And she married the ever so talented actor Richard Sharrah (YouTube sensation Kid History.) Don’t feel weird staring at them ’cause they’re so good looking. I’m sure everybody does. Eyes
Thanks for reading you guys <3
In a perfectly perfect world I would be able to take clients all day everyday AND be able to post all the details about each and every one of them. I love being able to share things via the world wide web and I also love the in person one on one interactions I get working as a full time makeup artist.
Sometimes I wish sleep wasn’t a necessity. I’d have so much more time.
I’ve got some great informative posts to come, and for the meantime I wanted to share some photos from some of the jobs I’ve been working on.

I’ve had the honor of getting celebrity Lindsay Arnold (from Dancing With The Stars) ready several times. She just got hitched and the details are being featured all over in the media! Including People magazine, Us Weekly and also here on Entertainment Tonight.

I can’t emphasize enough how big of a sweetheart she is. Which to me is the most beautiful thing.
I’ve recently been obsessed with finding the perfect products that will make your skin glow like a letter on Wheel of Fortune…here they are:
Liquid Illuminator: Benefit Sun Beam gives a radiant look and is a gorgeous golden bronze tone. I love that it dries, sets and doesn’t slide around on my face like a lot of liquid illuminators sometimes do. I apply it with this Lancome foundation brush.
Body Illuminator: Charlotte Tilbury Super Model Body is the perfect subtle sheen for your body and looks gorgeous in photos. For a more budget-friendly option, I love Gleam (it dries and stays put too.) I like to apply body illuminators using this brush.
Ahhhh summer…..so wonderful. Love these photos taken by Jason Mize of Jeff and I when I was on a job in the Bahamas a few weeks ago. Have a lovely weekend everyone! xoxo
The first time I did makeup on Makenna Alyse it was for one of her performances (she’s a dancer for the Utah Jazz) and we couldn’t stop talking the entire time. I’ve been lucky to work with her several times since and felt honored that I got her ready for her engagement photos, bridals, and wedding day. She’s a beauty and I think her and Aaron are perfect together! Here are the details on her look:
Eyes: Urban Decay eyeshadow base, MAC eyeshadow in Saddle, Bronze, Carbon, and Rice Paper, Chanel liquid eyeliner on top in Noir, Tarte Inner Rim liner, Lancome Definicils mascara in waterproof black, Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde using Anastasia angled brow brush.
Lips: Urban Decay lip liner in Naked 2, Lancome lipstick in Coral in Love, Yves Saint Laurent gloss in Rose OrfevreTo achieve this look for hair I recommend a 1.5 inch curling iron, I love my Sultra Bombshell.
I always get extra excited when a photographer asks me to get them ready. I’m not sure why specifically, but I sure love it. Probably because they’re always working so hard to make others look and feel good in photos, and I feel like they deserve a turn to feel pretty.
For Emmy’s look I wanted something that would go with her personality, sassy and sweet. She rocked this!
The products I used:
Eyes- Urban Decay primer, MAC eyeshadows in Vanilla, Wedge and Bronze. Chanel liquid eyeliner on top, MAC eyeshadow in Carbon on lower lash line and Tarte inner rim liner. Lancome pencil Sable for her brows and her lashes are wispies.
Emmy is darling, isn’t she?
I’ve done makeup on Sadie (a lifestyle blogger) a few times and we always have fun together. She told me that when she posted a photo after I did her makeup, she got tons of compliments and questions asking about the makeup. Of course that always makes me feel good 😀 . We decided it would be helpful to post some details about it.
