When I was younger I used to spend hours daydreaming about doing makeup. I’m pretty sure that’s what consumed my thoughts on the majority of the 1 1/2 hour (each way) bus ride I had to and from school. I remember sitting with my knees propped up against the back of the seat in front of me, keeping a low profile so I could just stare out the bus window pretending I was off doing makeup somewhere fabulous, maybe Paris. I remember picturing myself doing all sorts of fabulous makeup jobs and then making short little videos making it easier for more people to know fun ways to do their makeup.
Since these day dreams started about 14 years ago when there was no youtube, I put the thoughts in the back of my mind and began chasing different parts of my little makeup artist dreams. Now that I’m grown up and have gotten to do a lot of the jobs I used to daydream about I am excited to have finally made one of my first makeup videos.  I wasn’t in Paris when I made the video, but I used some products that are from there, and that’s good enough for me! 😉
I was lucky to be able to do makeup for this video on someone that I love hanging out with. Monica is a model professionally but I am considering having her be my video side kick professionally instead.
This video shows two easy makeup looks that look good in person and also on camera. It also shows how the makeup looks in different kinds of lighting. I really hope you like it!
To make it easier to figure out what I used I’m going to put the time next to a product list for you guys for this video. (I wanted to demo several options of things you can use to get a simple look quickly, don’t get overwhelmed some of the products on the list are duplicates and I will also be doing videos using fewer products.)

Love the corresponding products and when you use them in the video. So helpful!!
Oh good! I’m really glad it’s helpful. More videos are on their way!
I’m in love with this video!
Hi Vivian,
This isn’t all that related to your video here. But, I’m guessing you must have a train case… I’m in the market for one and I’m wondering which one you uses. I’m looking for something durable and easy to travel with. I also do hair, make-up and nails and am starting to do some traveling. I hope to hear back from you!

Hi! From my research these are the best for travel. http://www.zuca.com/ I don’t own one, but I probably should!
Love the video! I love seeing Lancome used more often, love their eyebrow pencil. And you color matched me at Maskcara’s booth, you’re a doll. In five seconds I looked presentable to the world, lol. Thank you!
Love the video and I love the use of Lancome products. I am a HUGE fan of their eyebrow pencil so it’s nice to see it get some love. You color matched me at Maskcara’s booth and I just wanted to say thank you. You were incredibly kind, especially with my son bumping into us, and you made me look presentable to the world in about five seconds. Thank you!
It was such a pleasure meeting you! And I love Lancome’s brow pencil! Often I’ll apply it with a damp angled brush, just to make it last longer haha.
you should definitely make more videos! I could watch hours and hours of videos done by you!
Great to hear! Ok I will keep them coming!
Vivian,
I love this video. It is so well done. I just kept thinking I need a make up course from you. You make applying make up look so natural and easy. This whole video concept from a natural look to bumping it up is so great!
Please make more videos! This one is SO perfect and beautiful. You are so talented 🙂
Thank you thank you! Any video requests?
