Halloween Lion’s Makeup
In the spirit of Halloween I bring to you the Queen of the Jungle!
I had a great time doing this makeup and hair for Jessa. Halloween makeup is always so much fun to do, and I had a blast with this Lion’s makeup look. Jessa already has quite the mane so giving her big lion’s hair was super easy! For her hair I used:
–Sam Villa PROFESSIONAL VOLUME & TEXTURIZING IRON at the roots of her hair to give it volume and texture. Then I used Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray also in the roots of her hair before I backcombed a little bit. Then VERY loosely wrapped her hair in 1 inch sections around my Hot Shot Tools Gold Series Curling Iron 3/4 Inch (the slightly smaller barrel gives great texture, just make sure not to ringlet yourself! If you get a piece thats too curly, just very lightly spray it with some water to relax the curl.) And I love setting everything with Superfine Hairspray. For a cheaper, but strong hold hairspray I love Kenra Volume Super Hold Finishing Spray (and it’s on sale!)To get this costume lion makeup look I used:
Lancome TEINT MIRACLE, CLE DE PEAU BEAUTE CONCEALER, BEN NYE MAGICAKE FACE PAINT (durable and doesn’t smear so I like this stuff! They mix quickly with water to produce bright, opaque colors.) Make Up For Ever 12 Flash Color Case (these are pigmented, creamy and blend-able.) GRAFTOBIAN METAL MANIA KIT GOLD on her lips. Gleam in Bronze Gold. CHANEL EYELINER, House of Lashes in Siren, and LE PETIT TRIPLE over Frends 412. Also this brush MAC 210 PRECISE EYE LINER plays a super important roll in getting this look! (or you can always check your local art supplies store for similar brushes. Just make sure they’re skinny!)
And you can get the black crystals here and some assorted gold ones here
The best and cheapest/most convenient crystals I found here. And use a dot of adhesive then lay the stone right on top.
I love this lion halloween makeup look!
